#56 - Automate your Linkedin (by using 5 free tools)
It's almost impossible to land a Salesforce job if you don't learn how to gain attention, and nothing works quite as well as leveraging LinkedIn.
2 years in and 52M+ views later you could say I've been able to gain a fair amount of attention on the platform.
The secret to my success?
Using tools to automate as much as I can.
Here are my 5 go-to Linkedin tools:
Tool #1: Notion
Experts say we produce 6,000 thoughts per day, most of which never leave our brain and make it to paper.
Notion solves this problem, the modern-day notepad. It allows you to capture your thoughts throughout the day and store them in a place where they won't be lost or forgotten. The best part is that it's also an app so it goes where you go.
I use it for:
Recording my ideas
Storing links to great posts
Embedding inspirational designs
Tool #2: Twemex
You become a product of your thoughts. Read low-quality content, produce low-quality content.
Twemex displays the best tweets from any Twitter account you select, granting you access to a writer's best work at the click of a button.
Since tweets are limited to 280 characters, spending time will help you organize your thoughts and spit them out more concisely. If you don't get to the point quickly, ppl will leave.
Tool #3: WriteSonic
What do Bezos, Musk, and Oprah all have in common (besides $$$)? They all took an idea and remixed it to make it their own.
Writesonic creates your remix by using AI to tweak the written content you may have been inspired by. They have several features but I've really enjoyed their "content rephraser" the most.
I use this to:
Read new perspective
Summarize long content
Generate better word choice
Tool #4: Typeshare
Famous writer Robert McKee once said storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today.
Typeshare allows you to do storytelling right by providing you templates to simply fill in the blanks and publish all from their site. This tool is a new one for me and has been an absolute game-changer.
Tool #5: Buffer
"You’re spending time to save money when you should be spending money to save time." - Naval
Buffer serves as the best example of this quote by allowing you to schedule out your posts. Those who schedule 10 posts or less can use this tool completely for free.
